Zeno: Destroying Acne Through Heat
Ah, acne treatmentslinks. You always seemed like the red-headed stepchild of beauty products; the dark underbelly that many have to face but no one wants to acknowledge. If you have to deal with "moderately inflammatory acne" on a regular basis, this gadget might be a cool idea: called the Zeno, it's a device that uses a heat shock treatment to kill the bacteria so the skin can heal. It doesn't sound like an instant cure (but then again, is any medicine really instant?) - you'll need to apply the heater on the business end of the Zeno for several minutes and you may need to bring the noise a few times a day before the zit bites the dust. Still, if you've got enough advanced warning before that big date or stage appearance, you might just have enough time to clear the skin and make the right impression.
