There are two ways to solve these kinds of "power" problems. You can either figure out how to get more power into a battery, or you can just use less power. The folks at Fraunhofer Institute have figured out a way to make gadgets run with under 200 millivolts of power. It turns out we can get that much power just from our own body heat.
Where this is going to be insanely useful is in the medical field. Imagine being able to hook up various sensors to your body. They run off your body heat and transmit their readings wirelessly. Both patient and doctor benefit from this tangle-free experience.
