Yoggie Gatekepper Pro

This device brings me into the realm in which I cover in my day job: network security. Or rather, network security for your personal computer.

The Yoggie Gatekeeper Pro is a device that serves as a network security device, incorporating many security features commonly implemented in software on a personal computer such as anti-spam, anti-phishing, anti-virus, intrusion detection, firewall, web filtering, VPN client and much, much more.

The device is powered off your USB port and it will either filter your Ethernet or wifi connections links

. WiFi requires some software support on your PC as it has to redirect the WiFi traffic through a virtual "bridge" adapter. Either way, your connections will be safe and secure without all the bloatware that comes with software-based solutions.
