X-OOM Unveils New Music Software for the Sony PSP
Filed in archive Misc by tiago on January 11, 2006

Here is another software application by X-OOM that allows radio recording (and much more) for your PSP. Kind of similar to the X-OOM MP3 Radio Recorder, but the difference relies on the final target and the better specs/functions.
The Music To PSP was recently announced, and it has the characteristics to be a hit = affordable price with plenty of nice features, including:
- "allows users to schedule recordings of their favorite radio stations or specific programs, and play them back as MP3 files on their PC or PSP whenever they choose." -
- "instantly identify the artist and title of the addictive song that has been stuck in their head all week." - it has an unique ID3 tag editor making it easy to use
- "sample tens or hundreds of songs in just minutes and simply delete
those they do not want to keep" - Even better is the part that I'm not quoting, but I'll comment now. You can customize the filters, and let's say that you really want all the songs played by Morcheeba to be recorded. That's not a problem, customize the filters the right way and you're done. Besides the artist name you can also choose the song's title
Those were some of the features, but not all. The "additional" features also look interesting:
- Audio Converter - from WAV to MP3
- Burn Music - Record to CD the broadcasted audio tracks
- Music Library - Organize the tracks the way you really want to
More information at www.x-oom.us and here's a screenshot (not the best image, but this is what I could get) of the software in action:

By the way, it costs $30 and is available at X-OOM's website in the previous link.
While you're at it, why don't you take a peak at the PSP on TV device? It might make your life easier and help your eyes in the long run...
