There have been rumors of this black box circulating all throughout the net for the past few months now, but Microsoft has made it official: the xbox 360 Elite will ship at the end of April.

The Xbox 360 Elite sports the popular console in black, which include the controller and headset. The Xbox 360 Elite also has other features including 1080p HD output and HDMI interface. Also included is membership to Xbox live.

The Xbox 360 Elite costs about $479.99 USD, and an additional 120GB HDD can be purchased for an additional $179.99.
