Tech News Around The World

Wiricity, wireless electricity has been one of the pipedreams of the world; imagine being able to have all your electricals powered and charged without having annoying tangled cables lying around everywhere, it'd be great. A few years ago some MIT guys claimed to have come up with a working solution to it, and have made small demonstrations...then everything all went dead for a while. Eric Giler talks of a device that snaps onto the back of a mobile phone battery wand will take in energy from any source, preventing the need to ever actively charge the device again.
