It was launched this past friday with 900 hotspots but the expectations rise the number to 5,000 hotspots on September 2006, there are 3 companies that are working in coordination with the IDA and besides the free service (unlimited too) that offers Internet access with a 512Kbps speed, there will be a paid service as well but with faster speeds.
Wireless@SG access is now available in 254 locations across Singapore. A list of the locations is available on the IDA's Web site.
