Why You Shouldn’t Buy The iPhone 4 Just Yet

The newly released iPhone4 is expected to be a great success.
It has great style with the glass and stainless steel design and its multitasking software and improved screen are features very much welcomed by everybody.
However, as with any product that comes out with so much hype, there are also a few shortcomings one has to consider before buying the iPhone4.
1. The new iPhone4 has only a 5-megapixel camera. HTC, Motorola and Nokia have all built in 8- and 12-megapixel cameras into their new phones.
2. There's no Swype on iPhone4. You know, that ability of phones to predict the next word you might be trying to type just from finger movement patterns and word usage statistics. Tapping into the iPhone4 will still make texting seem to take ages.
3. Video calling on the iPhone4 is severely limited. It can only be done with someone who's also on iPhone4 and with a wi-fi connection. Not really a very large number of people.
4. There's a very severe shortage of iPhone4's. Too much hype over it with very limited supply will probably push some people to other phones.
5. The exclusive partnership with AT&T. Not everybody who may be happy with Apple products is happy with AT&T. Many two-year plans with AT&T penalize people who happen to be heavy users of the iPhone and that makes them all very unhappy. Is a Verizon iPhone on its way? Definitely not this year, folks.
