What’s The Best Gadget of All Time?
The folks at Wired and voxpop.tv have come up with an interesting contest: The Greatest Gadget Of All Time Tournament. They took 64 gadgets from various points in time and set it up in an ncaa Final Four-style matchup. Gadget against gadget. Choose the best one.
If you can pick the same gadget everyone else picked, then you score points. The further up the bracket you match, the more points you get. The person who gets the most points after the scores have been tallied wins what is arguably the coolest gadget of 2007: the Apple iPhone. Wonder if it comes with the necessary 2 year service agreement with AT&T to use it, assuming you don't want to hack it.
My perhaps biased choice for the Greatest Gadget of all time was the Nokia 5110, pictured here. It brought durability and affordability to mobile communications, allowing people to connect everywhere. What was your choice as the Greatest Gadget? Post in the comments.
