What the heck? Portuguese traffic

The Portuguese Flag

Attention: this post is not gadget related…

I'm still trying to wonder where all the traffic from Portugal – over 8,000 page views, no information about the number of unique pt visitors – came from, that was during the month of December.

That month also had a record of unique visitors, mostly because of the Nokia N90 Video samples of the Morgan Heritage Concert that ended up at i4u.com and other gadget related sites, but that's not the purpose of this post.

I want to know why the Portuguese Traffic was so higher in December, but can't find the answer.

I don't remember making any substantial "promotion campaigns" besides posting on Portuguese forums (techzonept.com), PC Guia Forums (one of the biggest PC magazines in Portugal) and others, but this is something I do every month since I started blogging here…

In the links from external sites during the month of December, there's no trace of a Portuguese site that gave a big number of visitors either, so I don't know what's going on!

My guess is that some kind of offline thing happened, I wonder how/who/when. If you're one of the people who made this happen please contact me ( gadgets [at] creative-weblogging.com ) and tell me how you did it, because I would really like to know where the traffic came from. Thanks!

Writing for someone who I don't know if reads this blog regularly can look retarded, but I don't care :)

Five or six visitors should have came from my blog
    ;)

Seriously, I find it hard to believe it was an offline thing. December is a good month to gadget related sites. Gadgets are nice gifts…

    Very cool portuguese flag icon!

Yeah, there were a couple of visitors from your blog and I agree that December is a good month for gifts and all.

But I doubt that all the Portuguese traffic came to find nice gifts, I’m sure it was another thing… Just don’t know what.
