Wearable Computers Become Cool

Wearable Computers Become Cool

A little story for you: someone I know once employed a guy to write about wearable computers. The gentleman in question was very much into wearable computers and in fact believed he was part cyborg. Or maybe all cyborg and part human. In any case, things didn't work out because most people aren't interested in reading about being a cyborg, much less becoming one.

Why do I mention wearable computers? Because I've stumbled across a company called Elekson that's come up with a very basic wearable computer that does things like control iPods, operate Bluetooth devices and send keyboard commands…and it looks cool. Like the suit, pictured. Behold a fully tailored, attractive SUIT, with not cyborg feature in sight and it happily controls your iPod through five buttons built into the inside of the jacket. Sure, it won't send your email quite yet, but at least people are thinking on the right level…very cool.
