Waterless Urinals
Filed in archive Misc by Dameon Welch-Abemathy on September 26, 2007

Something I saw quite a bit in Europe, but rarely see in the states, are waterless urinals. Makes complete sense to me that you don't need water. Or those damn Urinal
cakes. The way it works is fairly simple: the pee drains into a trapway, which has a sealing liquid in it. The pee is more dense than the sealing liquid. This keep the sealing liquid on-top, which keeps the pee away from the outside where it can stink up the psace.
I'd love to see more of these in a men's room near me. What about you?
