Washington, D.C.’s Reagan Airport Introduces Cell Phone Parking Lots

Here's a decent idea I'd like to see implemented at all US airports: Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. just created a temporary parking lot for motorists until the passenger they're waiting for calls on their cell phone. The lot, created in response to security measures that forbid motorists from waiting curbside for pick ups, can hold 34 cars, each of which can stay in the lot for the maximum of one hour. Motorists are forbidden from leaving their cars, which means that you unless you bring a passenger with you, you're not going to be helping grandma with her bags, but at least now you won't be fighting for curb space with cabs when trying to pick someone up.
