Just the kind of thing you'd see in a campy B Sci-Fi movie. Except it's real. And it actually tells time.
Japanese design firm Sea Hope is designing some absolutely crazy looking watches. Instead of hands or numbers, the LED lights show you the time in a sort of binary pattern. You, as the owner, have to figure out what that pattern is.
You can buy this and other watches from TokyoFlash. These watches are over $100 based on the current exchange rate. Way out of my price range, anyway, but they sure look cool!
