Voltron Going To The Big Screen?

As a child of the 1980s, I spent many an after-school afternoon plastered to the tube watching Voltron. Five lion robots join together to form one uber-robot to take on the bad guys from another galaxy. Cool looking transformer-like toys. Perfect fodder for a budding techie.

Meanwhile, the word on the street is they're looking to make a live-action version of Voltron for the big screen. The idea has been in development for a few years. It appears the details are still being worked out, but it's "close."

I wasn't a huge fan of transformers links

, which was also given the big-screen treatment recently. Maybe I'd go see Voltron if it ever hits the big screen. Meanwhile, you can go relive your old memories by purchasing Voltron on DVD.
