Virtual Distance Football
discovery channel store has something new to offer with the Virtual Distance Football, a football that can actually tell you how far it is thrown.

Unfortunately, the ball is not regulation, or this would really come in handy at the NFL. It is designed for backyard time with its foam construction, but it could definitely train the future football star.

Apparently, it is even accurate to the yard. I am assuming the measurement on the ball that you see in the picture is in yards, so hopefully you can't throw over the length of a football field or you might not get a reading. (The LED looks like it only has two digits.) The Virtual Distance Football is available for about $19.95.
