Vinyl to USB – The Unexpected Reality

Normally I'm not a big fan of all things retro, but I have to make an exception for this gadget, if only because of all of the time I've spent recording old records to digital audio files via very cumbersome audio connections. Called the iTTUSB, it's a turntable with a USB 1.1 output that will allow you to record your vinyl collections directly to any program that supports USB soundcards, like the included copy of audacity. The iTTUSB also includes 1/4" line level outputs so you can connect the turntable to an stereo equipment with AUX inputs and a 1/8" (headphone) input, allowing you to digitize cassette tapes through the iTTUSB's built-in digital converter. The turntable runs at 33 and 45 RPM, with software support for converting 78 RPM and includes an adapter for 45 RPM records.
