Verizon recently announced a new serviced named Chaperone, featuring GPS it helps parents track their kids and don't let them run loose.
This system will work with the LG Migo cellphone and has a nice feature, much like an invisible fence:
Setup a geofence around a few city blocks, a city, etc and then parents will automatically receive a text message if the child travels outside that geofence
It will cost $15 per month and be available in May.
