Verbarius Electronic Clock Spells it out for you
Art Lebedev, a designer known for his taste in displays, has come out with a new twist on the usual numbers. As you can see, his Verbarius (verbose?) clock takes the time to spell it out, in five different languages.

There have even been reports that it can do variations, so instead of "three-fifteen", you may get "a quarter after three", or "fifteen minutes after three". This clock will shiplinks in November, and you can pre-order it for a little under $160.

My only concern about this clock is that since it spells everything out, it might be programmed to spell other things out to. That reminds me of these displays in the movie The Island, where these displays tell you what you are doing for the day. By the way, how do you set the clock?
