General Cool Stuff

For all the green lovers (and I'm not talking about that kind of green thing) there is a new car called Venturi that claims to be the "world's first energy autonomous vehicle". It makes driving a car really cheap because there you don't have to spend money on gas, you can either recharge it from an electrical outlet or use the solar panel combined with the wind turbine to get it to work.
The Venturi has a max speed of 50km/hr and weights 350kg, the average solar and wind "charging" provides 7km and 15km per day respectively, if the conditions are good. This limited edition of a environment friendly car costs $32,500 and sadly there will only be 200 units available on 2009, so you can take a seat and wait.
Innovative and astonishing, Eclectic is much more than a simple vehicle; it is a production and storage plant for renewable energies, either solar or wind based. Charging of these energies, which is intermittent in certain regions, can also be complemented by electrical recharging.
