USB Bus Powered 60GB Hard Drive

Typically when choosing a portable hard drive a balance between portability and storage capacity has to be made. Apricorn has a new portable hard drive with up to a 60GB storage capacity that uses a 1.8" hard drive that is both small and exceptionally portable. Portability of the drive is greatly enhanced thanks to the integration of a neat USB cable that can be tucked into the side of the drive when not in use.

Further adding to the portability is the fact that even with the high storage capacity the drive requires no external power adapter. If you want higher data transmission speeds than USB 2.0 can offer, FireWire connectivity is available as well. A full suite of software is included and has backup software, synchronization software and Encryption softwarelinks. Encryption is 256-bit AES or 448-bit Blowfish.
