The unpacking ritual has to be known by now, take a look at some examples: unpacking the Xbox 360 at engadget, unpacking the Xbox 360 at Kotaku, you get the idea...
At joystiq.com they decided to full around with the unpacking of the Xbox 360, and the post was a complete mockery of the "unpacking ritual". They talked about everything that was inside the pack (including beautiful boxs and bags) besides the Xbox 360 and didn't show the product at the end. Just amazing.
In my opinion it turned out to be a great post, full of comedy in many aspects and top quality entertainment! Some readers didn't like this action and commented so over at joystiq.com, but I agree with comment #133 "There are some people that just don't see the beauty in what you've done here"
The mock festival starts like this:

Look out, hackaday! Joystiq just created the first Xbox 360 mod. Breakin' all the rules. They told us "THIS SIDE UP" we said, "pshaw, watch this, suckas." As far as munpacking the xbox 360 - first cutods go, this one's pretty functional. You can see that the box still retains its original Horizontal top surface, allowing for placement of coffee, books, what have you.

At play-girlz.com they also decided to take part of the fun, and another crazy post was made about the Xbox 360 unpacking. The mistery box is also full of comedy :)
And for me? What did I receive? Nothing, not even a box...or a bag... !!$%#$
