Did you buy a 1.5 Inch Mercury Digital Photo Frame from WalMart? What about a Samsung SPF-85H Digital frame? If so, you might have inadvertently let loose a virus-storm in your in-laws house. Look on the bright side, at least you would never buy that crap for yourself.

It turns out that the Mercury Digital Photo Frame from WallyWorld comes preloaded with a Windows XP virus. The Samsung frame from Amazon comes with the 32.Sality.AE worm on its install disk. It sure seems like Grinch has got himself a job in the quality control department for the Chinese frame makers.

Don't panic. If you haven't done so, return the frame or request a RMA immediately. If you already installed the device, get your virus definitions updated and clean your Aunt's PC off. If you don't, she will return the favor when she forwards you her next chain letter.
