Tungsten T3 upgrade
The TechLounge has a comprehensive review of the new Palm Tungsten T3
The biggest feature is the ability for the display to be in landscape or portrait mode – the biggest downside is that there aren't yet that many applications that will take advantage of this.
Also a bonus is bluetooth – I think Bluetooth is pretty much a requirement for every 9suitable) new device I get – it's one of those things that increases in value hugely with each additional device that uses it. Right now, it's just my phone and my phone's headset – soon, the new mac will have it, and when I next upgrade my PDA, that will also have it. The linking abilities between those 4 devices alone add up quite impressively… (let alone the lack of cable clutter).
In general, I'm a fan of Palm gear – but I think that's probably a function of the fact that they're the only PDA type device I've made extensive use of. Perhaps this Palm might be the one to get me to upgrade…
