TRENDnet Wireless N Travel Monitor Brings the Speed
Filed in archive Peripherals by Chris Matier on August 20, 2009

The TRENDnet Travel router is pocket-sized; it is only 2.5 x 3.25 x 0.75 inches which means it fits well in a briefcase or travel bag. It can be powered by either USB or AC. The USB power comes in handy because the TRENDnet TEW-654T isn't just a wireless router, it also features Access Point and AP Client modes. Setup is handled by the on-board web server and UI that you can connect to through direct connection or IP connection. All of that is pretty standard on travel routers. The part that makes the TRENDnet unit stand out is the fact that it provides connection speeds up to The 300Mbps through the Wireless N connection. That is certainly fast enough to handle all of your Netflix or YouTube needs while on the road.
The TRENDnet Wireless N Travel Router will retail for $75 when it is released later this year. Hopefully, I won't be traveling as much toward the end of the year, but if I am, I am certainly going to be buying one of these.
