Storage Stuff
by tiago on September 21, 2006

After the other two Transcend products, more precisely the T.Sonic 530 mp3 player and the JetFlash USB flash drive, the Japanese company comes out with a new storage device - the StoreJet 3.5 is a potable hard-drive compatible with most Windows versions, Mac OSX (or 9.x) and Linux kernel 2.4.
This StoreJet model uses USB2.0 as the interface and as you can see per the image it has a nice looking aluminum case that can hold a 3.5-inch Hard Drive. The interesting and uncommon part is that you can pick from a IDE or SATA hard drive as the storage device. Sadly there is no info about its capacity or price but I'm expecting big capacity versions, like 200GB and up.
