Toshiba have announced that they plan to spend one trilion yen (that's around US$9.4 billion) on developing "digital products and electronic devices".
On top of that, they're also putting 1.1 trillion yen (around US$10.4 billion) into R&D.
It might just be interesting to see what comes out of this - does anyone know how these numbers compare to their competitors?
