Toshiba Laptop Docking Station with Dolby Digital

For many laptop users the bain of their digital existence is the anemic sound card in their laptop computerslinks. Another common complaint of laptop users that use their computers in an office or home, as well as mobile setting, is the number of cables that they have to remove to go mobile. Lucky for them Toshiba has a new Laptop Docking Station/USB Hub that features Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.

With the Toshiba docking station you simply plug one USB cable into your laptop rather than plugging in your external keyboard and mouse, speakers, mic and so on. The station also bypasses your laptop's internal sound card in favor of one sporting 24-bit advanced HD audio, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, an SPDIF coaxial port, CMSS 3-D virtual surround sound, and EAX effects for gaming. Perhaps the best part of all this is the price, a mere $49.99.
