Toshiba Gigabeat S30 MP3 Player - Review
Filed in archive Reviews , Sound Makers by tiago on June 19, 2006
The Gigabeat S30 MP3 Player was recently reviewed at DAPreview and the conclusion is that the Toshiba product still needs some tweaks to be considered an iPod killer. Starting with the package
itself in which Apple scores more points, to the battery life that is pretty low, all the details are a matter of attention for every customer.
3 details that other MP3-players-makers should take note when looking at the 30GB Gigabeat: design, size and weight - all pretty good; USB Host - being able to connect other devices via the USB port and transfer files from/to the player; price - don't make it too expensive like the S30 which is selling at $300.
In the DAPreview the final result is 8 out of 10, with factors such as package contents, build and design, GUI, video playback taken into consideration.
