Top Gear build electric car – How hard can it be?
Ahh, Top Gear, how I love you, and how much the big ol USA is missing out by not running it over there! The trio of presenters decided to challenge themselves making an electric car, the famous “How hard can it be?” was uttered.
The result was the boxy creation shown above, featuring a tubular chasis from an old TVR (RIP TVR), and the engine out of an old milk float. Hook this all up to some big batteries and they actually made a working car.. althogh it was certainly not without it’s flaws.
