To Be Honest, Why Wouldn't You Want WiFi On Your Camera?
Apparently WiFi cameras aren't exactly a new idea (or so Wi-Fi Planet tells me), but today was the first I've heard of them and nikonlinks has a new one, the CoolPix S7C. The third generation of Nikon WiFi cameras has upped the megapixel count to 7.1 and introduces a new service called CoolPix Connect, where users in any one of 7,000 T-Mobile hotspots can upload their pictures to a central server. The server then emails any accounts you specify with a link to the pics, so you don't crash anyone's mail server with large files. The CoolPix Connect service is only free for a year from the first connection, but you can also use any WiFi hotspot (or the traditional USB cable) to download files to a computer.
