T-Mobile Finally Partners with LG
Big news for T-Mobile users- the wireless company has decided to finally work with LG Electronics and is kicking off the new partnership with plans of a trio of phones: the Sentio, dLite with social-networking capabilities and the GS170.
The Sentio (shown) and dLite, based on LG's Social Buzz technology, will each offer easy access to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace with pop-up notifications on the home screen.
The Sentio features a 3.0-inch touch screen with a virtual keyboard, a 3.0-megapixel camera and high-speed Internet access.
The dLite, meanwhile, has a unique "hidden LED matrix" that lights up the face and edges with colors and icons for alerts, caller ID, time and date.
Lastly, the GS170 is an entry-level clamshell designed for usability. It offers an intuitive user interface, one-touch speakerphone and large visible keys.
All three should be available this summer though pricing has yet to be finalized.
