Time Warner Cable to Launch Wireless Service
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Time Warner Cable is planning to expand its telecommunicationslinks holdings by offering wireless service as a part of its packages of TV, Internet and home phone. The service isn't a new, competing network, however; it's a partnership with Sprint, so if you're not a Sprint fan, you might want to sit this deal out. One thing that this new package brings to the mix: you can get several TV channels, including the Weather Channel and ABC News, on your phone. Maybe this deal will finally push mobile video content into the spotlight?
