TI's third generation 802.11 chipset is specifically designed for mobile devices such as cell phones, smart phones and PDAs.
That's bordering on the holy grail for me- wifi in everything. Bluetooth suffices for the inter-device connectivity I need for now, but wifi would be so much better - as long as the power usage is sufficiently low.
