Sony
has three new Clie handhelds on the way, the TH55, the TJ37 and the TJ27.
More information (via Gearbits):
Sony's New TH55 and TJ37/27 Clie PDAs
Personally, I agree with Craig from Gearbits - although I like Sony gear, I will not buy anything of theirs that uses the Sony Memory Stick. If I get something which uses another form of media/memory card, I can use it in other devices - I can share my storage facility across multiple devices, from multiple manufacturers. If I go with something that uses the Sony Memory Stick, I have to either just use it wih that device, or only buy Sony for everything else I want. It's just a form of customer lock-in, and it offers no real benefits.
Dear Sony. Give me freedom, or I won't buy your products. Love, Andrew.
