This Coffeemaker Also has Weather Inside

I really don't get coffee drinking as a hobby anyway, so this coffeemaker definitely isn't for me, but if for some reason you want to get the weather on your coffeemaker instead of, say, turning on the radio in the kitchen or walking into your living room to look at the TV, you now can – for $200. The gadget in question is a Melitta Smart Mill & Brew and it's a $200 coffeemaker (yes, $200, when you get these things for free at this point) with a Microsoft technology called SPOT (Smart Personal Objects Technology) built in. SPOT brings in data by FM radio waves, allowing for mini processors built in to every day gadgets to display things like weather and news. It's an interesting idea that could have some great applications (Dick Tracy watch, anyone?), but you still won't see me paying $200 for a coffeemaker that gives me the weather.
