Thinklabs ds32a Digital Stethoscope: An iPod for Doctors?

There is some weird iPod accessories out there, but this one has got to take the cake. Thinklabs ds32a Digital Stethoscope takes the classic doctor's tool and attaches it to an iPod. Doctors can then record a patient's heartbeat, and save it on the included apple ipod nano 2GB.
The kit costs about $495, but I'm not certain if doctors would buy this. After all, what would you think if you saw your doctor wearing an iPod? I would assume that he was trying to listen to some tunes on the job. This might make an interesting plotline for the show "Scrubs".

Littmann have launched a new electronic stethoscope- the iPod scope is a great idea, but would never be acceptable.
