Them Dry, Dry Knits

Them Dry, Dry Knits
head licelinks. They seem to be a problem for children and their habit of getting into anything and everything and they're a pain in the neck to get rid of. Stupid parasites think they belong in the hair. In any case, resorting to creams, nit combs or even head shaving to eliminate the problem may soon be a thing of the past, as a team of scientists from the University of Utah are developing a hair dryer that kills 80% of lice, 98% of their eggs and renders the remaining lice unable to breed. The lead researcher, Professor Dale Clayton, made the connection between heat and killing lice when he noticed that lice samples he was using for research on infestations in birds kept dying in the dry Utah air.
