The World’s Smallest DVD Writer
This seems to be a Limey-only innovation at the moment, so those of us on the other side of the pond will have to suffer in silence for a while, but Plextor just announced they're coming out with the world's smallest DVD burner, the PX-608CU. Only slightly larger than a DVD disc and USB 2.0 powered, the PX-608CU is about as portable as you can get with a DVD burner. It can burn DVDs at up to 8x and CDs at up to 24x and supplements the potential for data flow problems coming via USB with a 2 MB buffer.
