The VPX System: One Battery To Rule Them All
Filed in archive Misc by Dameon Welch-Abemathy on October 29, 2007

Are power tools gadgets? Of course they are: they are electric. They are "tools" that serve a useful purpose. Sure they're not as cool as my cell phone, but there are times when you need a drill.
Black and Decker's VPX System is yet another battery-powered tool system with a catch: all the tools in the system use the same type of battery. That and the batteries hold their charge better so that if they sit around in the tool for a while, they maintain their charge!
I'm hoping the offer I received from Black and Decker to try out few of these tools is still good. If I do, you can bet I'll write up a review.
