If you've got an old-school trashy book lover in your life who desperately needs an iPod case, maybe take a look at the Hotel Fever iPod Case from Bennie and Olive. For $69, you get a book, complete with library card, that will hold the larger sized iPods snuggly and still give access to both the headphones and the controls when needed (although the iPod owner might want to invest one of those sets of headphones with the controls on the cord, just in case). Of course, I wouldn't exactly say it's practical for carrying around, but if you're going to drop your iPod in your bag anyway, why not give it some protection?
