The Internet, Treo Powered
Have a spare USB cable, a laptop and a Treo 600, 650 or 700p with a data plan? Want to avoid paying for wireless access, or are you in an area where WiFi isn't available? You might want to check this piece of software out. Called, quite simply Treo USB Modem, the $25 piece of software turns your Treo into a USB modem and includes support for fax operations and a background function that allows you to use the Treo as a phone while it's in USB modem mode. Pretty cool if you're in a pinch for an Internet connection.
