Just Plain Weird
by Mark Rollins on August 1, 2008

Sometimes I think that gadgets are getting a little too smart these days. This one concept phone known as the FuChat could be one of them.
The FuChat is able to empathetically detect a user's emotions by analyzing the body temperature and voice tone of the user. It can then display its readout as some sort of emoticon.
From then on, the FuChat may turn off the phone or send a similar reminder about dealing with your emotions. I'm not certain I want this concept device to become reality. I think I want to have freedom of emotions, even if they get out of control.
I will have to give appropriate kudos for the design. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it is made of biodegradable plastic.
