Students Using a Ring Tone Techers Can't Hear

Lending even more Credence
to the theory that high school students are like a pack of wild dogs is the recent use of ring tones pitched too high for some adults to hear. The ringtone is known as mosquito. The sounds original developer designed it to use in repelling teens from loitering in front of stores and shops while not bothering adults. Why can adults not hear it? A phenomenon called aging ear results in the loss of the ability to hear high pitched sounds. I guess that's why Papaw could sleep through the high pitched scream of his hearing aid feedback while young children and dogs around the house scrambled for cover. If you so desire Foxnews.com you can either confirm that your too old to hear the ring tone or revel in the fact that no matter how old you are, your ears are still young by listening (or at least trying to listen) to the actual ring tone.
