EnvyNews reviews the Contour NoteRiser. In short, it's a stand that lifts your notebook up to a decent height so you don't kill yourself trying to work on it. It's a good idea, and if you use a laptop at a desk a lot, you should consider something along these lines. You owe it to your future self to take care of your body, and to try and make it easier on yourself to work well. Good ergonomics is a good part of that. While we're on the subject, get yourself a good pointing device (I like the Microsoft Trackball Optical) and a really good keyboard (my personal preference is the Kinesis Ergo Advantage Contoured Keyboard).
Good ergonomics is important folks - don't be a dimwit like me and wait for the pain to get bad before you do something about it.
Better living through technology - who's for it?
