I am on vacation this week, and my dog is home alone. Well, he was home alone. I received a call from our pet sitter on Saturday saying my mutt went missing. STRESS! There was a follow-up call from the humane society saying that my dog was incarcerated. My dog sitter didn't want to get the my dog because she was afraid that he would just get out again. If only I had a way to spy on my dog.

That's where the Pet Eye View Digital Camera comes in handy. For just $44.99, my dog can wear a spy camera, and I can know what he did, how he did it, and how to stop him. The Pet Eye View Digital Camera goes around your dog's (or cat's) neck and can take a snap shot at intervals ranging in 1, 5 or 15 minutes.

Admittedly, part of the allure of this little camera is the gee-whiz factor of having a spy camera on your dog. In my case however, I can absolutely see the benefit of this little gadget. It would have saved me $25 a day in dog boarding fees. I love my dog.

Now I can find out why the dog comes home covered in mud and flowers. Will these gadgets lead to a plethora of TV clips of “a dog’s life?”
