If you make a lot of videos, listen to a lot of tunes, watch a lot of high resolution pornography or have just upgraded a mac to OS 10.5 you might well be in The market for this terabyte hard drive from Philips.

Over at the Gadget Blog, Colbert Low reports on this beast:
"Philips has upped the ante with the nice looking SPD5130 hard drive, equipped with one terabyte of storage and able to connect to a computer using either USB 2.0 or the new eSATA interface. If you have plenty of media files like me, you will appreciate the eSATA interface that goes around six times faster than USB 2.0. No more wasting time and more time to catch a movie date. Goes for £299.99 over in the UK."


The price of heavy duty storage has certainly come a lot recently, and for this kind of space you can definitely count me in, given that I fit almost every demographic mentioned at the beginning of this post. Almost...
