Sony's Retractable Headphones
It looks like sony is borrowing its headphone design from rock climbers and dog leashes. The MDR-LE30LW has a nifty belay to hang off your belt loop, but it also features retract-ability. In other words, you pull out the headphones and plug in to whatever length you want, and they automatically retract when done.

Not bad. As you can see, they come in many colors (more than shown here) and also come in two other models, the MDR-Q38LW and MDR-Q68LW. Depending on what model you buy, these snazzy retractable headphones will run you about $30-40.
