Sony Infrared Remote Controls
Sony has never been too big about the remote control market, but all that might change with the introduction of the RM-PZ1FD, the RM-PZ1SD, and RM-PZ1D.

All three of these remotes have infrared LEDs that increase the range of the signals, and are compatible with 15 different brands including Matsushitalinks, JVC, Sharp, and Toshiba. According to my sources, you could even drop one of these remotes in the toilet, and it would still function. I'm guessing you would probably want to wash it off first, though.

As you can see, Sony's infrared remotes come in three different colors, and should sell at about $21 a pop.
