Sony GV HD700E

Personally, I wondered if we even need a HD video Walkman links

. I'm glad that Sony is ahead of the game with the Sony GV-HD700E.

The Sony GV-HD700E is equipped to play HDV 1080i and miniDV tapes, but I don't see any place for HD discs. It has a nice 7" display at 800 x 400 resolution, as well as i.Link and HDMI Out interface capability.

The GV-HD700E should be available sometime in September. I can't get any more specific than that, and that goes for the price as well.
